The (mainly!) finished Sock Monkeys

11 February was part II of sock monkey making and resulted in mainly finished creatures, just the odd arm and ear to be attached (admire the slightly alien look of one of the triplets awaiting ear surgery…).

Sock monkeys: family and friends

Here’s what some of the sock monkey makers said about the workshop:
“Another fantastic workshop. Made a wonderful sock  monkey and met some lovely people. Will be back for more workshops in the future!”
“Fantastic experience, lovely company, made to feel really welcome. Even though I couldn’t sew I actually made (with alot of patient help) a good looking long-armed sock monkey”
“Sock monkeys was great – reignited my creative passion. I’m now addicted and will have made a whole colony soon”.
